The short version

MacroPrep is a free recipe website. There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. The only personal information we hold is what you enter if you join the waitlist, and we use it only to tell you about MacroPrep.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, what you enter in the form is stored with our website host, Netlify. We use it only to email you about MacroPrep, such as when new features launch. We don't sell it, share it, or give it to anyone else.

If we ever start using an email service to send those updates, we'll update this page before we do.

You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing macroprepapp@icloud.com. We'll delete your details within 7 days.

Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify receives basic technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google when a page loads. The site itself doesn't use cookies or analytics.

MacroPrep Backup

MacroPrep Backup is a private tool used only by MacroPrep's owner. It reads MacroPrep's own Google Drive files, read-only, to keep a backup copy in MacroPrep's private storage. It isn't offered to anyone else, it never accesses anyone else's Google account, and it shares nothing.

MacroPrep Backup's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
